Ph.D. and M. Tech./M.Sc. Students:

There are multiple openings for postgraduate students in our lab. We welcome prospective students eager to engage in cutting-edge biomedical research in mitochondrial biology, cell signaling, developmental genetics, and disease biology. The student(s) will study the molecular underpinnings of developmental and neurological disorders, including neurodegeneration. No prior research experience in these areas is necessary.
Postdoctoral Fellow:
We are currently seeking a postdoctoral fellow to investigate the disease biology of neurodegeneration. The fellow will lead a project focused on discovering new human disease-causing gene(s) as well as characterizing mitochondrial & metabolic dysfunctions involved in the disease progression. Previous experience with cell culture and/or fruit fly handling is a plus. Individuals interested in studying rare and undiagnosed genetic disorders are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates planning to apply for individual postdoctoral fellowships are especially welcome. The PI will provide full support for their applications.
