Our Team

Priyanka Gusain

Ph.D. Student

Priyanka holds a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences from the University of Delhi and a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Delhi South Campus. She is investigating the role of mitochondria as a signaling hub between organelles, with a primary focus on understanding how mitochondrial defects lead to developmental and neurological disorders. Outside of her academic pursuits, she enjoys dancing and playing badminton.

Shreni Priyadarshini

Ph.D. Student

Shreni obtained her Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharm) from Galgotias University, Greater Noida, and a Master of Pharmacy (M Pharm) in Pharmacology from JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty. Her current research explores the role of transmembrane proteins in lysosomal and neurological disorders. Beyond academics, she enjoys reading fiction, baking, calligraphy, and listening to music.

Vidhi Wadhawan

Ph.D. Student

Vidhi completed her Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Delhi and her Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Biosciences from JNCASR, Bangalore. Her research examines how mitochondrial proteins regulate neurometabolism during development and in disease conditions. A trained musician, she often tries her hand at crocheting.

Chandrawali Goyal

Ph.D. Student

Chandrawali received her Bachelor's degree in Applied Botany from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra, and her Master's degree in Life Sciences from the Central University of Gujarat. Her research focuses on how defects in mitochondrial protein import alter cellular signaling pathways and contribute to neurological disorders. Off the clock, she enjoys painting and doodling.

Bonhie Das

Ph.D. Student

Bonhie earned her Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Lady Brabourne College, University of Calcutta, and her Master's degree in Molecular and Human Genetics from Banaras Hindu University. Her research aims to understand how mitochondrial metabolic dysfunction drives neurodegenerative disease. She is a trained classical dancer and, beyond her scientific pursuits, enjoys playing badminton, critiquing Indian films, and baking delicious brownies.
